I am fairly new to WordPress so patience is appreciated. I have been using W3 Total Cache for a few weeks now and overall it has been an excellent plugin doing nearly everything (page optimization-wise) that I need.

    BUT

I have run into a problem.
The theme that I am using uses googleapis fonts. I decided I didn’t need it to use those fonts so I altered the code of the theme to use standard fonts but somehow w3 will not let the style.css change it still uses the old style and I cannot get it to stop accessing the googleapis fonts.

My attempts at a solution have been as follows:

    Empty cache
    Deactivate w3
    Uninstall w3
Clear .htaccess file of all the things w3 added

If I deactivate/uninstall w3 that aspect (style.css) acts as I want it to but upon re-installation it reverts to the older version.

    Can anyone help?

My website is here and I am using the developer version of w3

    Thanks in advance,

    Joseph

I’m having this same (or similar) issue.

I’ve also completed all steps above, but it is still caching (stylesheet) at the browser level and calling the minified stylesheet.

Anyone have any luck with this yet?

I’ll let you know if I figure it out.

    chriseverson,

I still have had no luck actually figuring out how to resolve this but I have narrowed down my search a bit.

I have worked out that if I turn off the CDN in w3 it resolves the issue with the stylesheet BUT if I do that I don’t have CDN :/

I then cleared everything off the CDN (cloudfront in my case) and re-enabled CDN but it was still the old stylesheet settings.

So, I presume there must be some copy of the old stylesheet that is saved somewhere on the actual server (not on the CDN) which is causing this to run improperly.

Good luck and let me know if you work it out.

I think you’re correct in assuming that the issue is with the actual server as my issues are the same without having any CDN functionality ever implemented on the site.
