[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Special characters problem

    The plugin is great. Thanks for the WordCampNL presentation!

    I have one tiny issue though. Some special characters are replaced with even more special characters.
    For example

    • T’ai Chi is replaced with Ta€?ai Chi
    • hè is replaced with h?¨
    • Fryslan is replaced with Frysl?￠n

    The weird thing is that it only seems to happen on singular templates. I’m using the Hybrid parent theme + my own child theme. I tried disabling all other plugins, but the problem remained. The encoding is UTF-8 in all cases (the plugin does not affect this).

    Any ideas?
