• Hi, im getting issues to configure a self hosted cdn,the ftp test doesnt work, first of all my dns provider is cloudflare, i have my subdomain pointed to my site and it works, so i’ve contacted their support team but they dont know what’s going on, below is what i’ve done to configure a self hosted cdn:

1.- I created a subdomain to serve as my self hosted cdn:
    cdn.straightprofits.com,

2.- Then i create an ftp username: [email protected]
and a password for that username:password

3.- So in w3 total cache i put these settings for a cdn:

FTP hostname:ftp.straightprofits.com (i put that hostname because in my cpanel there isnt a option to create an ftp hostname for my subdomain)

    FTP username:[email protected]

    FTP password:password

    FTP path:/home/straig45/public_html/cdn

    SSL support:Auto

    Replace site’s hostname with: cdn.straightprofits.com

So i tested ftp and this error came up: Error: Unable to change directory to: /home/straig13/public_html/cdn (ftp_chdir() [function.ftp-chdir]: Can’t change directory to /home/straig13/public_html/cdn: No such file or directory).

Im desperate, im a newbie in this kind of terms and my site its blank cause i cant configure w3 total cache to work with a cdn, if there’s an answer for this can you explain me in a detailed way, as i said im a completely newbie in this stuff.

    Thank You!!

Please do not post your credentials in the forum. You will want to get this working properly without cloudflare, although now cloudflare is offering CDN as i understand it so this step is superfluous. Either way the path specified in your settings was incorrect, you needed to test in an FTP client first to be sure you had things right and copy those settings over.
