[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Self Hosted CDN

    Hi,

    1. I cannot find this file at all as specified to use in another post: Be sure to use the file found in wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/ini/_htaccess

    2. Some images just do not appear, yet the link location for that image is valid and the image file is there.

    Setup:
    Ftp Hostname: ipaddress
    Ftp User:
    Ftp Pass:
    Ftp Path: public_html/cdn/ (everything uploads perfect!)
    SSL Support: Auto
    Replace sites hostname with:
    ww1.ehypnosisdownloads.com.au – reserved for CSS
    ww2.ehypnosisdownloads.com.au – reserved for JS
    ww3.ehypnosisdownloads.com.au – reserved for js…
    ww4.ehypnosisdownloads.com.au – reserved for js…
    ww5.ehypnosisdownloads.com.au

    ALL the above hostnames are pointing in my cpanel setup to the directory /public_html/cdn

    Any ideas why images just for some pages wont appear but yet the link to the image is valid and the image file is there.

    Also, to add to this, I noticed a lot of directories with pretty much nothing in them getting created:

    /public_html/cdn/cdn/cdn/cdn/cdn/cdn/cdn/cdn/cdn/cdn/cdn

    cdn is the main folder for my hostnames

    This is not enough information to help, there could be numerous issues like bad DNS, incorrect FTP account details etc. submitting a bug submission from the support tab of the plugin is the best place to start. Be sure to reference this topic in the submission.

    have managed to fix the missing images by also adding some extra files in the custom upload area.

    Any ideas on all the extra CDn directories being created?

    Does my setup above appear ok to you?

    If you add a new directory to the custom files path and export them (if using origin push), then you’re all set. You can always open a file in your browser to confirm successful upload if you have a doubt.
