[Plugin W3 Total Cache] Not caching homepage because of trailing slash

  • My homepage (running on the path “/”) is not being cached. Debugging info for page caching tells me this:

    Engine: disk (enhanced)
    Cache key: _index.html
    Caching: disabled
    Reject reason: Requested URI has a trailing slash
    Status: not cached
    Creation Time: 0,469s

    Is this a known issue or am I doing anything wrong?
