[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Have uploads folder only on Amazon S3

WordPress file system API doesn’t allow wrappers like this to mount remote data sources.
There’s a plugin you might want to check though, it was written during GSoC 2010:

What if we mounted S3 bucket as a directory on the local server by using the following method?

I’m sorry, I think that solution is not related to WordPress anymore.
I didn’t give it a try though.

@hamedhemmati, if you’re worried about this, you probably don’t have a very good host because neither is a big issue today and I don’t encourage not having redundant copies of your media either way.
