[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Error: Unable to purge (transport error – could not open socket)

  • Hello,
    I’m trying to use MaxCDN function on a VPS (worked fine on shared host), but it isn’t working.

    So, i use Nginx on port 8080 since Varnish sits in port 80. I also use CloudFlare to host my DNSs instead of the VPS… everything works like a charm, but when i try to test the CDN in W3 Total Cache, here is what i get:

    Error: Unable to purge (transport error – could not open socket)

    Anyone know how to fix such a issue? I guess it may be because Nginx is on port 8080 instead of 80, but i have no idea… so, anyone?
