• When I change a css file on my blog & upload it, I usually have a few minutes of panic.

W3 Total Cache has a failed upload queue for AWS, which I must first clear. Then I go to my AWS control panel and distribute those files to the network.

In the meantime there is about 2-3 minutes where the site is trying to load a minified css that’s not there, so the site is unstyled.

Is there a better way to handle this?

I’ve set the upload queue to overwrite itself, so there is neve a queue there. Still, there is considerable lag between updating and uploading css & js files, and having them distributed via AWS.

Surely there must be a better way to deploy, than wait for the styles to “kick in?”

… hoping someone will chime in with a more sane workflow?
