• Hey guys, let me get your opinion on this. Im finishing a new template but Im undecided as to whether I should use the WP comment system or go with Disqus. Every time someone comments, does the page cache get dumped with a new one being generated or is it just the comment section that is dumped rather than the whole page?

I see that Disqus uses JS so that everytime it reloads after a comment, it doesnt actually reload the page…

so what’s the best alternative to reduce cache reloading?

    Yes.

JavaScript comment system like IntenseDebate or Disqus is best if you want to solve address that problem.
