What does this setting do? Or, please help me understand whether or not to select it:

[ ] Cache URIs with query string variables – Search result (and similar) pages will be cached if enabled.

I am quite new at this. I am using WP 3.1.3, Polished theme from Elegant Themes, W3 Total Cache 0.9.2.3, WordPress SEO 0.4.2, on a Windows 7 x64 machine and have shared hosting using Linux/Apache. Page Speed in Chrome is 80. Page load time: 12 seconds.

    TIA

  • As the caption says, it’s useful for things like search results pages, it’s not supported in disk enhanced mode.

Sorry; whole new language for me. Took me a while to correlate, er, digest ‘query string variables’ with ‘search results pages.’ Thanks.
