Within the W3TC Browser Cache settings, there are three places for selecting options from a drop-down box. I seek help understanding what they mean, the implications, so that I can make the right selection. I did find that changing each of these three from “cache with max age (max-age=EXPIRED…)” to “cache with validation public, must revalidate, proxy-revalidate” did wonders for my Page Speed time in Chrome. (went from 50 to 80)

Even pointing me to a video or documentation will be greatly appreciated.

    Help?

I am quite new at this. I am using WP 3.1.3, Polished theme from Elegant Themes, W3 Total Cache 0.9.2.3, WordPress SEO 0.4.2, on a Windows 7 x64 machine and have shared hosting using Linux/Apache. Page Speed in Chrome is 80. Page load time: 12 seconds.

    TIA

Duplicate. Answer from Frederick was use default settings [if I could remember what they were or find them] and ‘google is your friend’ (paraphrased).
