• When we implement W3 on Weird News Magazine it seems our 301 redirects no longer work. Example: https://newsweird should continue to redirect to https://www.newsweird
As well as newsweird.com/index.php should continue 301 redirecting to the https://www.newsweird version.

This is causing the site to drop in search results as now it seems there are 3 versions of the site instead of 1. We have deactivated the W3 plug-in until we can find a solution or work around to this.

Anyone aware of a work around to fix W3 from deactivating 301 redirects?

First of all would like to say thank you for the overwhelming show if support in resolving the matter of redirection halting while under the influence of W3 total cache…

Is anyone doing support for this plugin or should we actually dump it and move on to a different solution?

Your 301 redirects should be above all other rules in your .htaccess file.

Did this ever get resolved? I have my 301 rules at the top but with w3 cache enable my redirects got to:

    …/wp-content/w3tc/pgcache/_index.html.gzip

Did you try the above? If that fails, I would have to see your .htaccess rules to determine a solution.
