    Hi there,

I’m having trouble with the CDN settings. I upgraded the Plugin a while ago and began to see these errors but didn’t immediately see any changes on the front end.

I’ve finally had a look at the site and I can see that the images are no longer being displayed within the posts.

On further investigation I’ve found that when I test the connection between W3Total Cache and the CDN I’m receiving the following error.

Error: Unable to list buckets (S3::listBuckets(): [RequestTimeTooSkewed] The difference between the request time and the current time is too large.).

I’ve tried to generate a new Access and Secret Key but that hasn’t made any difference. I also updated the SSL support to Diasabled with not changes.

I’m connecting though d3gjgrsrcarh41.cloudfront.net and everything is checked in the General CDN tab except for “Import external media library attachments”.

Let me know what other information you need me to provide

Soooo, how long does one usually wait for a response?

Seriously. I’m not complaining, just want a general gauge.

That appears to be an issue with server time. Are there errors in your web server error log Justin?

I’d disabled the plugin CDN options months ago and recently tried this again.
    These are my errors

Now when I text the connection says “Test Passed”

Is your unsuccessful transfer queue empty?

    Thread Starter Justin

    (@justincaverygmailcom)

No, the unsuccessful transfer queue has 9 of those errors for different cache images files.

I empty the queue, and then the next day there’s items back in there.

This will be better behaved in the next release. It’s really hard to get things perfect on some servers. It’s also best to use an origin pull CDN.

It’s also best to use an origin pull CDN.

I’m not sure what that is, can you explain? I assume that Amazon S3 is and Cloudfront are reasonable solutions for a CDN.

This will be better behaved in the next release.

A new release you say……. I love new releases. Have you got any plans on a release date?

If you check the method drop down on the general settings tab, you can see cloudfront can be used as origin push or origin pull. Switch to origin pull and then move to the CDN settings tab to get it set up.
