  • I shared this problem on a new voucherpress install, v1.2.
I had left a couple of ‘edit’ boxes deliberately blank when creating my first voucher, and wondered if this might be confusing the PDF creation process.

I deleted the voucher & reset the database. Then re-created a second voucher. By entering some text – in my case ‘****’ which did little cosmetic damage to my voucher, into the previously blank fields, everything worked!

So, if you have any ‘blank’ editable fields on your voucher, this could be a workaround. Hope this helps, K.

I was getting the same error message. Thanks to your advice, K, I was able to correct the error. Thanks so much!

I am completely floored. I spent the last 2 hours trying to get my coupon to work and it was because I left everything but the voucher code blank since I built the description in to the custom template I uploaded.

Chris, I love you plugin but PLEASE allow for fields to be blank or do error checking for that.

ktopia, Thanks for the post. You saved my sanity.
