    Hi,

I have my form working fine apart from an issue I have with file-sizes. Somewhere on my installation, there’s a trigger to stop large files being sent using the form but I can’t find it. Typically, small(er) photos seem to get through but certainly 4Mb pictures look like they’ve been transmitted but they don’t.

I can only assume I’ve missed a trick somewhere.

    Anyone?

    Callum.

The default file size allowed is 25MB.

If the files are not being attached, you might have file permission problems on your upload folder.

Hi Matthew – thanks for the response.

Does WordPress apply this limit somehow – or does my server apply the limit? Clearly I need to track down the issue.

For info, this is a dedicated server just for me with a cPanel control panel…

Sorry, should have been more clear. VFB sets the default upload size to 25MB. It’s a filter called vfb_max_file_size.

I’d contact your host to see if there are email attachment size limits or upload limits on your server.

I see. The thing is, this is my server ??

I’ll contact my techy guru and see if he can fix.

    I’ll let you know outcome.

    Thanks.

    Callum.

I’ve just seen this trying to manually upload a file greater than 2mb: “he uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini”

    I’ll look there.
