[Plugin: Visitor Maps and Who's Online] Feature Request: Alternative to GeoLiteCity Database

Hi Mike,

I’ve tried repeatedly to update the GeoLiteCity database over the last couple of weeks, but the GeoLiteCity server (or its Internet connection) has been incredibly slow. I can never get the update to run to completion any more. It always times out.

Is there an alternative site available to get the same kind of data? If there is, would you be willing to add a plugin feature which lets us select where we want to get the data? It would be great to have a choice of servers.
