[Plugin: Viper’s Video Quicktags] WP 2.7 missing column in dasboard

  • Whenever enabling viper’s video quicktag plugin in WP 2.7 the left column in admin dasboard dissapears, I mean tha one with state,recent comments etc.
    The other plugins I have installed and enabled:
    akismet
    Google xml sitemaps
    headspace2
    highlight author comments
    pagerfix
    robots meta
    seo friendly images
    sociable
    subscribe to comments

  • That’s… odd. Been using my plugin with 2.7 for months now with no problems.

    I also have this problem with version 6.1.13 of this plugin. Parts of the dashboard and post/page related pages are either empty or the entire admin page won’t load.

    My other installed plugins:
    Akismet 2.2.3
    Custom Smileys 2.4
    Dustan’s Time Since 1.1
    Feed Control 1.0
    Lightbox 2 (1.8.2)
    Twitter for WordPress 1.9.2
    Wordpress.com Stats 1.3.5

    If I disable all my plugins but enable VVQ, just a part of the dashboard disappears. The other pages seem to be working. There seems to be a conflict with some of the other plugins. Some Tests I did:

    Conflict: VVQ & Stats -> dashboard WP version, theme & stats widget gone
    Conflict: VVQ & Smileys -> dashboard entire left side gone
    Conflict. VVQ & Twitter -> dashboard WP version, theme gone

    If VVQ is disabled, everything is normal.
    Alternative: Disabling stats, smileys & twitter.

    I have Akismet, WP.com Stats, and my plugin installed together on multiple blogs with no problems, so it’s not that combination.
