[Plugin: Viper’s Video Quicktags] Nothing Happens When I Press Any Embed Button In The Create Post W

  • Hi,

    I’m trying to use Viper’s Video to show video content on my membership site.

    When trying to embed a video – by clicking on any of the embed buttons in the editor – nothing seems to happen. I don’t get any dialogue box up or anything.

    Am I doing something wrong?

  • Delete your browser cache, make sure it’s installed correctly, and make sure Javascript is enabled.

    All done but still not working.

    I’m using Thesis Theme, could that be a reason for it not working?

    I have another blog, not on Thesis that seems to work OK, only it doesn’t offer me the chance to embed generic video, only from video sharing sites.

    I’m really looking to embed generic video as my site is a members’ site with premium content.

    You enable/disable buttons from the settings page. The generic video button is off by default as embedding non-Flash video is hard to get working in all browsers on all OS’es.

    Many thanks for that, I’ve got the FLV button now, which is actually the one I wanted.

    I changed my theme back to WP default and the embed buttons started working, so there’s obviously an issue with the plugin working on Thesis theme for WP – which is a real bummer as that’s what I intend to use.

    Just upgraded to Thesis version 1.5.1 and it all now works ??
