[Plugin: ViperBar] Viperbar not working with Mailchimp

  • Installed the plugin just fine, added my Mailchimp API and Unique List ID, (just like I have with other plugins) but when I test it and enter an email address & name it acts like it went through fine, even gives me the conformation message and tells me to check my email for the double opt-in but I never receive an email and Mailchimp has no new subscriber.
    Seems like this plugin is broken or dead. Please fix/update as this is the best looking attention grabbing bar I have found.

    Is this plugin dead? I can’t find any support for it.
    The old 1.0 version works with mailchimp but the bar never goes away it is on every page even after to fill it out or close it… it just reopens on the next page or refresh.
    The 2.0 version looks great and remembers if you already filled it out or closed it…. and it stays closed… but it doest work with mailchimp… all setting are correct on the backend but it never sends the info to mailchimp.
