[Plugin: Video Embed & Thumbnail Generator] no video with supported format and MIME type found

  • I’ve placed a video through an offsite link … the video is an MP4. I’ve added
    AddType video/ogg .ogv
    AddType video/mp4 .mp4
    AddType video/mp4 .m4v
    AddType video/webm .webm
    AddType video/mp4 mp4
    AddType video/ogg ogg
    AddType video/webm webm
    to my htaccess file and I’m getting this error in Firefox 13 “no video with supported format and MIME type found” … just says loading in Safari 5.1.7 and nothing happens with Chrome.

    Any ideas on how to make this plugin work?

    Since the file’s hosted on another server your .htaccess file doesn’t matter. It sounds like the video file isn’t the right format. Can you post a link to the video?
