The problem is that automatic installation of plugins does not work, if the plugin folder is placed inside another folder. The current solution will fail to install and will not display any error messages to the users.

It is possible to manually install the plugin, but it should also work directly from the wordpress admin pages.

    yes,
    1.download the plugin.
2.Unpack the *.zip file and extract the /vertical-scroll-image-slideshow-gallery/.
    3.Open your server via FTP
4.upload the ‘gSlideshow’ folder only into “/wp-content/plugins” via ftp.
    5. and activate the plugin
hope it will work, waiting for reply, thanks.

My plugin name and file name is different so, this ll give error while activation. so do manually and activate.

upload the ‘gSlideshow’ folder only into “/wp-content/plugins” and activate.. its working super!!!

    Manual installation works fine.
Automatic installation through the WordPress Admin pages is broken.

If you want your plugin to be used by anybody, then you should fix this error.

i have updated the plugin with automatic installation feature..
