Plugin version 2.0.0 release notes
-
I’m pleased to announce version 2.0.0 of Fast eBay Listings has now been released. This release brings some big changes to the plugin:
- Migration to latest eBay API methods
- Deferred loading of eBay items for faster page loading
I have tested the plugin as thoroughly as I could, but if you do encounter any issues, bugs or weird behaviour, do let me know and I will strive to fix things as fast as I can.
Note the new eBay API has some known limitations compared to the older legacy APIs the plugin used to use.
- Only a single category id can entered now
- Searches by a seller must also specify a search query or category
- Only 225px and 1000px images are served up from eBay now
- Classified ads don’t present prices via the API
- For single items that have ended, its not possible to determine if they were sold or unsold
These are all down to eBay’s API implementation, some are likely to change in the future (the single category limit for one), but others are out of my hands, unfortunately.
All the best,
Arthur.
