[Plugin: Usernoise modal feedback / contact form] Email Title / Name

  • Hi.. this plugin looks like it has lots of potential. Well done!

    However, I have two questions..

    I noticed that when someone submits a question to me and I reply to the email.. their email name is my domain servers username. This is sort of a problem because it isn’t recognized by people as being attached to my domain name, and it’s no where close to my name. Is there any way to connect that with either my domain email, or let me choose the name / title that shows in the sender name area.

    Also, it would be great to also have this set up to use from the footer (or header) links, because let’s face it.. some users are still old school.

    Regarding emails – it is a generic WP email setup problem – by default your emails are sent using your shared hosting user account. Please use a great WP Mail SMTP plugin to set email delivery system up right.

    You can create header or footer links using the next code: <a href="javascript: usernoise.window.show(); return false;">link text</a>.

    Thanks.. I really like the look of this plugin, unfortunately.. I couldn’t get the smtp to work (at all).

    I did some tweeking in the wordpress script and got it to work!!! Now I can use your plugin, I’m thrilled! Thank you for your text script for the footer link. I actually placed it in my sidebar and it looks fab! FAntastic! Thank you!
