[Plugin: User Switching] Problem with Switch Off / Switch Back in 0.5.2

    Hi John,

    Thanks for creating this handy plugin! I’ve been using it for a while, but I noticed a problem after updating to Version 0.5.2. If I’m logged in as the administrator and select switch off, I’m not able to switch back to the administrator. The switch back link is displayed, but it doesn’t work. Instead, clicking on the link displays this message:

    Are you sure you want to do this?

    Please try again.

    Clicking on the try again link just takes me back to the home page, where the switch back link is displayed. Please let me know if you need any additional information from me to troubleshoot this problem.

    Hi Fred,

    Apologies for only now getting back to you on this. I must have missed your post.

    I’m unable to reproduce this problem. Switching back works for me just as expected.

    The only thing I can think of is that there may be another plugin interfering with the cookie that’s used when you switch off.

    Would you be able to disable all your other plugins and then try switching off and switching back? If you don’t want to do this, please feel free to send over a list of all your active plugins and I’ll take a look.

    Hi John,

    Thanks for getting back to me. I can’t reproduce the problem any more either! Before I reported the problem, I had already updated all the software on my site. I have also updated some plugins since I reported the problem, and I recall clearing my browser cache and cookies at some point, too.

    Whatever the reason, the problem is gone now! I’m sorry to bother you for nothing, but thanks again for getting back to me.
