[Plugin: User Submitted Posts] Human Verification

I added a custom field in the form that checks for human verification. It works in theory, where the user is redirected back to the form if the number that is input does not match the desired result.

However, the form still processes a pending post if the verification is not correct – which essentially makes the verification field useless.

Anybody know how to prevent the form from submitting to a pending post until all the fields And the verification code is correct?
