It kinda looks like the my-category-order fails. Maybe this isn’t related?

I was finally able to recover. By manually removing the user-role-editor directory inside wp-content. I could then restore the previous version user-role-editor from my Buckupbuddy backup (thank God for doing that before upgrading!). Now I’m able to log in to my sites again. Re-tried the upgrade with the same results, total lockout. I suggest everyone keeps off from upgrading to this version until it’s fixed!

I also tried upgrading the network to 3.3.1 but I still end up being locked out…

Thank you. It would be good, if you help me test the updated 3.5.1 version of User Role Editor plugin before I publish it here. It is available from this link

Thanks for the information. That’s really valuable.

After the latest update of URE – today – I have the same problem! Forcing WP to update the database could not help.

    Any error messages?

No, just that I have not sufficient rights to see the administration interface… in fact I can see nothing… as I am not logged in, but I am actually logged in.

I checked the database and my user account has full privileges (user level 10). I updated from URE version 3.5.1 to current 3.5.2 running WP 3.3.1 .

Is it possible to undo the changes made by the update of URE? If yes, how? Right now I can not access or modify anything on my site :/ please help
