[Plugin: User Meta Manager] Problem with apostrophes

Several of my users use apostrophes in their biographical info. Whenever I edit and save their meta data, all text including and after the apostrophe is deleted. Can someone help me fix this, please? I think there needs to be an
addslashes()somewhere, but I don’t know where.
