    sorry to bother you again…
is there a way that you could send me the previous (1.3.7) version of the plugin? This might solve the issue.
I would really be grateful, because now, with all the avatars gone, it’s harder to follow the conversations.
    Thanks

Yeah, this update broke all mine too!!! ??

Ok, to fix the issue. Change permissions of /uploads/avatars/all folders here/ to 777

    Doesn’t work for me ??
Do you have to change also the permisson for the “cache” folder inside the “numbered” folders where the thumbnails etc are?
What should be the permission for the actual image files?

    thanks

Doesn’t work for me, either. I’m getting ready to remove the entire thing from my website. Can you let me know what the fix is?

    hi Yolle
I updated the plugin. I am guessing it might have something to do with the show avatar option.

Does the site where you don’t see the avatars, have the option found in Dashboard->Settings->Discussion called show avatar. Selected “Don’t show avatar”.

If you have a screenshot I of what the user see I might be able to help you more. What is the URL that gets generated by User Avatar?

mcbeck, please remove the entire plugin from your server.

    Will do.

I have the same problem since updating to 1.4. Version 1.4.1 didn’t solve the problem.

When I try to open the avatar image, I get the following error message:

    A TimThumb error has occured
    The following error(s) occured:

Could not find the internal image you specified.

    Query String : src=/wp-content/uploads/avatars/1/1317715350-bpfull.jpg&w=32&id=1&random=1317715350

The blog is located in a subdirectory on the server. If I add the subdirectory name manually to the query string in the URL, I get the avatar image. It looks like the plugin doesn’t generate the right directory structure for the string.

    I hope this helps.

I have v.1.3.7. It is compatible to WordPress 3.2.1

If there is anybody needed, I can send it.

For me it’s the same as for Woostotmar.. The same error… The update doesn’t help. Another thindg I noticed – it isn’t possible to upload new avatar pictures since the 1.4 update. Let me know when you find the error.
@denizci88: could you please send me the 1.3.7. to yolle555 at gmail.com

    thanks

    Hi Yolle,

    I sent it. Pls check.

    Best Regards

    Hi Woostotmar.
Thanks for pointing that out. I will try to roll out a fix for that soon.

Denizci88 Thanks for providing the older version to the users.

WordPress is a product of cooperation. I am trying to help, too.
