• Hi, I am trying to get User Access Manager to work with the Theme My Login plugin… it works fine except for 1 problem – the role affiliation does not work. This started to happen after I added the Theme My Login plugin. If I check the Subscriber box, and then click update group, it says “Updated Successfully”, and the group says it has all those members, but they don’t actually have access to the page. When I go back to edit the group again, the Subscriber box is unchecked. I can manually add each member to the group, which seems to work. But that is an extra step that I’d rather not do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi,

Yes, I have the same problem too!

Thanks for the tip. I was beginning to wonder if User Access Manager worked at all, but after changing to selecting the users to have access explicitly (not a big deal in my application) it does seem to be protecting posts correctly. [I still can’t get it to work at all with files, and if anyone has another solution there I’d be grateful for a pointer.]

    Hi,

I have the same problem too on WP 2.9.1. This is very sad as this plugin would be so great without this issue!
