• I have a multi-site installation of WordPress using the subdirectory method of configuration.

In one of my sub-sites, I created two UAM groups (ie: Group A and Group B). I then created two Categories and assigned them to their respective UAM Groups (ie: Category A assigned to UAM Group A and Category B assigned to UAM Group B).

I then created a post assigned to Category A and a post assigned to Category B. I login as a user assigned to either UAM group I see the correct post for the group the user is assigned to and everything seems to work properly.

However, when I create a third post and check the boxes to assign the post to BOTH Group A and Group B, no matter which user login I use, I cannot see the third post.

Is there a problem with the category method of assigning group access that prevents allowing a post to be accessed by multiple groups?

As a followup, I added one of the users to both Group A and Group B and post now appears when I login as this user.

Does this mean that on categories, when you check more than one group, the user needs to be associated with BOTH groups instead of EITHER group?

I have the same experience. It seems likes there’s only an AND function, not OR like you and me want it. Part from that a great plugin!
