[Plugin: upPrev] Tracking / Opening in New Tab

Is it possible to add kind of tracking to it by appending something like

sitename.com/uprev?=fromuprevplguin which should be configurable. This way I can check how much traffic comes from here.

Secondly the links should open in a new page. User might like to leave the post he is already reading.
