    As stated in the info, the development on this plugin has been paused for quite a while.
    We are, however, very close to the release of version 1.7.0 and – although far from perfect – it will be compatible with WordPress 4.2.2

    The banner customization as indicated in the image is done with the ‘Example Skin’. You should make a copy of that plugin, rename it, and craft your own skin. If you wish to use the example skin as is, you – of course – do not have to make a copy of it, but if you change it without working on a copy, a future update will destroy your customization.
