I believe this is related to WordPress updates

Try to refresh update cache from Dashboard -> Updates page and try to update again

What version of WCFE Plugin you’re currently using?

    Thanks,
    AHMeD

    What version – last one.

cache – deleted and even removed. The same error.

One WP installation on GoDaddy (Linux+Apache+php).
    One WP on FatCow (Debian+Apache+php).
And one WP on my server (Windows 7.1+Apache+php)

    Same error on all.

Disable the WP Config File Editor.
Now you can do the updates. The same on all three system.

    I found it

    Please Do the following:

    1. Go to WCFE Editor -> System Parameters Dashboard page
    2. Open HTTP Request TAB
    3. Go To Tools -> Control Options menu on left top
    4. From Control Options Panel (Displayed on Right) Disable/Check “Request Timeout”, “Stream” and “Blocking”

If you still have the problem please Check all the Control Options under HTTP Requests TAB.

Please let me know if you got it solved

    Really sorry about this!

    Thanks,

    NOT:
I did the change of setting first.

One WP installation on GoDaddy (Linux+Apache+php). Change settings OK. Plugin WCFE update automatic after changing. (Have 2 WP – same on both.)

One WP on FatCow (Debian+Apache+php). Change settings OK. Plugin WCFE then I have to update it manual. “?!??!” Funny or isn’t it?

And one WP on my server (Windows 7.1+Apache+php). Change settings OK. Plugin WCFE update automatic after changing.

    Hello,

I believe its just matter of cache, disabling HTTP Request Parameters definitely will solve the problem.

I believe you’re now have all your WordPress installations works fine, right?

Please let me know if you still encounter the same issue.

Thanks for discussing and really sorry about this error! Its really bad one!!

    Thanks,

    Sir

    “That’s life.” (by Frank Sinatra)

“If something can go wrong, it will go wrong.”

20% of people in Sweden believe that there are human races.
When it’s actually genetic defects, mutations. “Error” or something did go wrong.

    Thanks!

    This is true!

Yeah, learning new technology and science doesn’t mean absolute understanding. Humans has been on earth from long long time but this kind of ideas still exists!!

People are rated based on what each one is providing for the others or for what benefits each one provide to the human race (No plural s) at all in fact

    You are from Egypt. Nice…

I haven’t been there, but in Damascus and in Baghdad.
Few Swedes have been in both Syria and Iraq.
But many have a lot of opinions, without knowing anything at all.

Once upon a time, Egypt and Syria the same country. ??

First things you need to know is its good to don’t get out of context.

This is a support forums for WCFE Plugin and it should stay like this.

Other users those have the same issue won’t be able to fix the problem when reading your “out of context comments”

    Thanks for discussing
