    Hi dear @webcraftic , @creativemotion , @alexkovalevv , @willbontrager , @webtemyk ,

Your “Woody ad snippets – Insert Header Footer Code, AdSense Ads” plugin for WordPress has not been updated for over 4 months and is only compatible up to WordPress version 5.5.3 .

1 day ago and precisely on November 8, 2020 the latest and most updated official and stable version was released of WordPress 5.6.x .

I wanted to ask you the following question:

When will you make your “Woody ad snippets – Insert Header Footer Code, AdSense Ads” plugin compatible with WordPress version 5.6.x , you have an ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) ?

Thanks in advance for the support.

    Hello.

We tested the plugin on WordPress 5.6, but we haven’t added compatibility to the description yet.

    @webtemyk
Your plugin is not really compatible with WP 5.6.
I had to downgrade WordPress to 5.5.3 as I found that all js snippets in Woody were somehow disabled for non-logged in users though for logged in users they were working fine. Then I tracked it down to find a compatibility issue of Woody with WordPress 5.6. Please help. Thanks.

    Hello.

I had to look at the errors in the browser console. In the latest version of WordPress 5.6, the jQuery library was updated, so your JS scripts could produce errors.

To check this, I need the JS snippet code that stopped working and a screenshot of the snippet settings.

I am also experiencing this exact issue. When logged in, the JS Snippets appear as normal. When not logged in, the JS Snippets are not rendered at all. In the code it shows:

<!-- start Woody ad snippets CSS and JS -->
<!-- end Woody ad snippets CSS and JS -->

There should be content between the comments.

This just started happening with WordPress 5.6. I haven’t found a workaround yet.

    Please advise/update ASAP.

    Hello, @prehealthshadowing

Can you show a screenshot of the JS snippet page?

    Hello @webtemyk,

I’m attaching two screenshots of Chrome DevTools – one before logging and and one after logging in. There are no other differences. I’m also attaching two screenshots from Woody Snippets – the list page and one of the JS snippets.

    Logged in: https://prnt.sc/w44opg
    Not Logged in: https://prnt.sc/w44p99
    Woody Snippets list: https://prnt.sc/w44r4c
    Woody Snippet js page: https://prnt.sc/w44rzu

I hope this is what you were looking for.

    Thanks!

Update – I went through and deactivated plugins and found the culprit – it is not related to your plugin. In my case it was SG Optimizer from SiteGround (our hosting provider) – specifically the “Combine Javascript Files” option. Disabling this one option returned everything to normal.

@jkmwp – do you have this plugin/option (or another similar plugin) that is causing this for you?
