Plugin Update Failed now website does not load

  • I had an automatic update to ZenCache, and my update failed to finish, now my website will not load, I cannot get to any page to disable it. But I can FTP in, and I do see a file in the “upgrade” folder under wp-content named zencache.tmp and I also have a folder named Cache in WP-Content. Yesterday I removed the advanced-cache.php file, and was able to get back on the site, so I tried to re-install the zencache plugin, and every since then I have not been able to get to the site. Suggestions?

    @coreygman That’s quite odd. You might try following the manual steps at the bottom of this article: How do I uninstall ZenCache?

    Then once you’ve done that, you should be able to reinstall ZenCache from the WordPress Plugin Installer (Dashboard → Plugins → Add New).

    Can you try that and let me know if you still have issues?
