Plugin update control

  • It’s possible to control plugin update proccess, e.g. during the update process i don’t want to delete all files in plugin directory??

    Have U any solution/hack how to do that??

    I’ll be greatful for any help

    The only way to do that would be to manually update the plugin by downloading and then uploading the new version.

    Not good. Maybe it’s called any hook before/after update proccess, where i can do something??

    The automated updated simply replaces the current files with the newly downloaded files. I don’t believe there’s any control beyond that point.
