    Hi Team,

First of all, a great thank you for the great plugin and it helps us easily switch the theme when the clients want to see their website with different themes.

We have updated the plugin version from 1.6 to 1.7 and the theme switch is not working.

We are using these things on our website with WordPress 4.9.8

    – Created & installed a custom theme.
    – Created & installed another custom theme for theme switch.
    – WooCommerce
    – Gravity Forms

If the down the plugin version from 1.7 to 1.6 the theme switch is working fine. We aren’t sure what is the issue.

We did enable the error logs and we couldn’t find any errors and we also checked the error log in our server and no issue in it.

Please let me know the right fix for it.

    Hi rams07,

Glad to help. Just re-tested and Theme Switcha 1.7 is working normally. Most likely something else changed on your site. Without any errors or clues it is difficult to just “guess” what the issue might be. My best advice is to set up a quick 5-minute WP install, leave everything at the default settings, and then try again with Theme Switcha. Then after seeing how it works normally, you can begin recreating your current site, retesting between each change, until the culprit is found.

Let me know if I can provide any further infos.

    Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the reply. I have cloned my client’s website and set up a new website in our staging area. I am still facing the theme switch issue. I have deactivated all the plugins and checked the PHP version of both live and staging area but no luck so far.

I even checked the browser console and I have not found any issues with jQuery. I am digging into the plugin files. Let me know if any solution.

Thank you in advance. But I really liked your plugin.

    Hey Jeff,

Sorry for the trouble. I have fixed the issue. The problem is I used “Everyone” in the “Allowed Users” option on the plugin admin side. You have mentioned to use shortcode instead of HTML codes.

I just changed the code from “theme=” to “theme-switch” and it fixed the issue. Any one facing with issues, please do the same.

    Thanks a lot.
