Plugin Update Breaks Site/Templates Disappear in Divi Theme

    <p>The Events Calendar most recent update from 6.0.6 to 6.0.6.1 not only broke the site but all of my templates created in the theme disappeared. </p>

    <p>I use the Divi Theme with a Child theme. I created nine templates for the site’s pages, archives, categories, etc. Right after updating to 6.0.6.1, the site broke (all styles and layouts). I went directly to the Divi Theme templates I built and all were gone. I had to restore from a backup to recover everything.</p>

    <p>It seems this year has not been a good year for The Events Calendar. It seems every update has been a disaster. I’ll hold off for awhile before attempting another update.</p>

  • Same here – this update break a lot

    Very much so. I was blaming an Elementor update incorrectly, I restored a full backup of my site and tested each update individually. I was surprised that the Events Calendar update today demolished my main Blog page so much that the site is unusable. Staying on 6.0.6 for now with auto-updates disabled until I see that this has been resolved.

    That issue was fixed!

    Please update the free Events Calendar plugin to version 6.0.6.2 to get rid of those issues on your websites.

    I just updated the plugin. Same problem. Templates all gone.

    Like the dude said, they fixed it with the 6.0.6.2 update and sites are working properly again.

    Hi @toad78, yikes that’s not good. Could you try clearing cache and flush permalinks and see if that makes a difference?

    Hello, @d0153, and sorry I didn’t get back to you.

    I just updated the updated release today for The Events Calendar–no dice: all of my styles broke for the Events list page as well as the Events details page (header/footer/content styles). I even cleared static caching and the like. So I’ll just have to wait till I have more time to devote with The Events Calendar to figure things out.
