Plugin update
-
Just updated recent Jigoshop plugin and it has cleared my original settings, everytime I try and change the settings, it says successfully updated but returns to previous! help!

When I updated Jigoshop after updating WP, I received the same error as above, reviewed this thread and decided to wait for 1.9.3.
Since then I have just revisited my site and now receive no site, just a page full of errors (many different errors). My WP login panel is also only showing a steam of the same errors.
I cannot get to my site, nor the wp-admin login.
ERRORS opening wp-login page:

SITE ERRORS: are same first 2 above, then:

My site is completely down.
i had the same thing. Im on godaddy.
log into hosting and go into the cpanel check your PHP version by opening the programming language tab. as above with my error the PHP has to be 5.3 or higher. mine had not been set to anythung higher than 5.2 so got a similar message as above.
before that answer came and to get my site working i went into the cpanel and renamed my Jigo shop folder. this gave an error that it could not be found but the site was working albeit without a shop.
after an hour or so the php 5.3 had been installed and jigoshop downloaded and activated normally. the setting needed redoing but my products were still intact.
I hope this helps and apologies for the layman’s language
Best wishes

Tim:
Awsome, didn’t think of that simple task of renaming my jigoshop dir.
As for my PHP, it is and was already 5.3.28.
I sure hope they get this fixed, I’ve had this plugin for over 2 years with no serious issues until now.
For the record, I just updated jigoshop and have my system info.

### End System Info ###Hello Dennis
I hope it gets fixed for you soon too. I use Linux but my latest one for my wife’s business was windows but for some reason it did not want to work on my laptop in the UK at all (days and days of it saying everything was ok) so Godaddy kindly changed that one to Linux too and everything is ok – she does not need a shop on her site yet.
All the best for the future
Tim
@dennishall
if your issue isn’t solved – please post your login details via [email protected] and we’ll check and fix your issue as soon as possible. Thanks optart:
Tims’ simple suggestion of renaming the jigoshop folder worked.
I also had the jigoshop add-ins which I did not rename.
What was good about this scenario was that after renaming the jigoshop folder while not reanming the add-ins folder allowed my installation to tell me I had a plugin update for jigoshop. I installed the update and everything works fine now.I looks like updating jigoshop may have caused this issue, whereas a clean reinstall worked fine.
BTW; this method also kept my data.
Best regards,
Dennis HallOK, good to hear
