[Plugin: Universal Post Manager] Bugs with email and PDF

Thanks for a great plugin – it covers a lot of bases very well!
I am struggling to get:
1 the email pop-up to work. The URL is appended with #upm_email_this, but nothing happens.
2 the PDF print times out.Any suggestions of where to look?
