[Plugin: Ultimate Post Type Manager] Export From One Site, Then Import Into Another

  • I want to export a custom post type and all related content from one site (about 65 posts for that particular custom post type), then import them into another site as the same custom post type. The original custom posts were built into a template.

    The plugin homepage says this supports export and import but I don’t see any link to export. I see the import field under custom posts.

    1) How do I export my custom post types? Does this support custom post types that were built into a template rather than plugin?
    2) How do I import the custom post type AND all of the posts?

    1) The plugin doesn’t support exporting post types built into themes, though you can create post types with same name with plugin and then may be export.

    2) You can use WordPress import and export feature, provided you have export option enabled for your custom post types, in it’s options.
