• Using version 0.9.4.

A custom taxonomy created by the Types plugin does not show up as an option in the Screen Options of the post admin screen nor with a column where the posts are listed, nor is there a drop-down menu with terms of that custom taxonomy (in order to filter posts with term “xyz”).

If it helps, when I click on the Quick Edit link I do see the custom taxonomy field.

Types 0.9.4 had a bug with standard taxonomy on custom post types. Can you check again with the current version of Types?

    Hi,

I think there is still a problem. I have installed version 0.9.4.1.

I open a new category ?brands“. The category is displayed in wp category and in custom type category.

I create a new custom type post and allocate the post to the new category “brands”.

If I check custom type category I see one post allocated.
If I click the “1” I get the post displayed.
If I check wp category I see one post allocated.
If I click the “1” I don’t get the post displayed.
In my theme I have a page template “gallery”. I can allocate categories to the page. But now only the wp categories are displayed.

Something is wrong with the custom type category.

If you need any more information, please let me know.

Thanks a lot for your help.

PS: sorry, I’ve already openedd another post in this forum with the same information. But I can not see the post in the list of “Type” posts

Would you like to send us your DB dump, so that we can reproduce this? If so, I’ll give you an email of Types developer to send it to.

    Sure!

Timit, can you send login info so we can see it online,
and explain exactly what is wrong?
    Also screenshots would help.
    I have trouble understanding issue.

Amir, instead of a standard taxonomy I actually meant a custom taxonomy that’s not showing up in the Screen Options, in a column, and in a drop-down menu.

I would also like to see this. As far as I can tell, there is no way to show custom taxonomies for the custom post types in the admin panel when listing the custom posts. For example I have a custom post type ‘Distributors’ with a custom taxonomies of ‘Country’, ‘Region’, and ‘Supported Parts’. When I view the list of ‘Distributors’ in the admin panel, the custom taxonomies do not show up.

    here is a screenshot :
