[Plugin: Twitter Widget Pro] No Tweets Available

I’m having this problem, too..
Changing the https to http or vice versa doesn’t helps, and i’m told there are no locks to clear…

FYI, I’m developing locally on XAMPP, but i Wp has no trouble updating…

Some more details about your situation if you please. Where are you changing HTTPS to HTTP?

In Settings > Twitter Widget, ‘Use Twitter API via HTTPS’ or ‘Use Twitter API via HTTP, and the link below ‘Clear Update Locks’ (replies ‘No locks to clear’).

My twitter account had ‘Always use HTTPS’ checked, but unchecking it makes no difference. I’ve tried setting ‘Number of seconds to wait for a response from Twitter ( default 2 )’ up to 10 seconds, no luck.

FWIW, I’ve tried using Twitter Tools, which requires that a Twitter App be set up with read/write permissions, and though I’ve gotten all the secrets and settings, and waited overnight, it can’t connect either!

I think this must be a local server issue – TWP works fine on my own site…

Same here, I’ve tried everything, every piece of advice frontwards, backwards, upside down and on one leg and nothing is working here.

Not sue what approach I’m going to take next.

I am also experiencing this issue ( https://www.runspotrun.com ) and changing to http from https in the options did not fix it for me. Neither did Clear Update Locks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I’m having this same issue and would love to use the fix that seems to be working for everyone but I have no clue where to find the code for the widget. Help? (Sorry… coding novice here…)

To all those who don’t see their tweets right away (like me) be a little patient it take a few minutes for WordPress to catch up with Twitter.

This solved it for me: Make sure your twitter username in default settings is correct. Don’t use @username, just username. You’re welcome ??
