My log shows the following files have been modified. Is this something to be concerned about, or just the result of several new tweets. Thank you!

Those should only be modified if you updated the plugin. Otherwise none of the plugin files should change.

None of us with access to the back-end of the site has updated the plugin. Cold this mean the site was hacked. Posting tweets doesn’t changes these files, does it?

It might mean you got hacked (though not necessarily). The files definitely don’t change when you tweet.

Thank you so much for your quick response. This really makes me nervous, so I deleted the plug-in for now. No other files were changed as far as my logs show, so if there was a problem with these files, I hope deleting them does the trick.

If not hacked, then is there any other reasonable explanation why they were changed when no one was logged in? I don’t know what to tell my client about the safety of this plug-in on his site.

The plugin is secure. It runs on tens of thousands of sites without issue. There’s really not enough info for me to say what happened. It looks like it was updated. Check your Ftp and other access logs to see what account changed it and when. Also, what urls were accessed during that same time.
