• Great plugin! I was hoping to use the trick to prevent overwriting, as described in the “Other notes” section on the plugin page, but can’t get it to work.

I added a ‘view’ directory to my (Genesis child) theme directory, as well as the ‘category-images-ii’ directory, then copied both required files, but no matter where I put them, they’re not being used. I tried putting them in the child theme’s root dir, as well as in ‘view’ and ‘category-images-ii’.

I also tried with a ‘widget-tracker’ directory in my ‘view’ without succes.

I have now made a few edits to the plugin’s files, but ofcourse would prefer to do it the proper way.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

It sounds like my documentation is wrong, sorry. You want to be using this directory: [your-theme]/view/twitter-tracker/

    Hope this helps.

You really only need to do this if you really need to change the output of the widget tweet contents. If you can make your changes with CSS, then do that… it’s much safer.
