[Plugin: Twitter Tools] Twitter tweets not apperaing in Widget

  • As it says in the title. New tweets posted on Twitter are not appearing in the sidebar widget.

    Any fixes for this?

  • I am getting the exactly sme problem here.

    I am running WP2.9.1 and version 2.0 of the plugin.

    Maybe something has changed in the twitter authentication? I am getting “Sorry, login failed. Error message from Twitter:” when I try to test the login info.

    Unfortunately The error message is empty.

    @secgen: Are you also getting the same login error message?

    Try another Twitter plugin. The Twitter API changed recently and not all plugins have been updated to use it.

    Hi esmi thanks a lot, I see around the forum that the plugin seems not to be very well supported anymore. What a pity!!

    By the way, anybody knows of a good plugin that has a good widget to show my tweets in the sidebar?

    I just switched to (Un)offical Twitter Widget.

    It’s a widget-only solution, but works nicely, and looks good. tbh I haven’t really been using the WP-Twitter or Twitter-WP features, and they were unreliable.
