[Plugin: Twitter Tools] Hashtags not added when posting from Windows Live Writer

Hello,
I have specified the wanted hashtags in the options page for Twitter Tools, however, if I post from Windows Live Writer, the hashtags are not being added to the tweet. Only posting an online draft manually from WordPress itself causes the tweet to be sent out with the hashtags.
