[Plugin: Twitter Tools] A question about tweets

I installed Twitter Tools and set it to make each tweet into a post. Worked well. But then I decided I simply want a digest for each day instead of multiple posts each containing a single tweet. So I deleted all the posted tweets and changed the settings appropriately. Didn’t work. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the plugin. Nada.

Additionally, even after uninstallation, the settings I put in for Twitter Tools seem to be retained somehow. When I reinstalled, the settings were already put in for me.

Any help would be appreciated.
