When I click ‘check for new tweets now’, I get a ‘500 Internal Server Error’.

The url it goes to is myblog.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=tmac_options&force_refresh=true

Do you know of anything I can do to fix this?

That’s the right URL, any way to check your apache log to see what the cause is? Should either be error_log in /wp-admin/, [you home directory]/logs, or var/log/ depending on your setup.

500 Errors are usually a result of bad .htaccess, file permissions, line endings, etc. Problem is most likely on the Apache rather than the PHP level.
