[Plugin: Tumblr Importer] How do I edit the cron-job?

  • Yes, that is what i want to know, too.
    Such a great Importer, but i want that it automatically runs in the background and import new stuff.

    It has something in it with a cron job, but i read that this cro job feature ist not for importing posts automatically in background ??

    But i think it should not so difficult to change / implent it.

    Would be very nice if someone can help ??

    That’s not really what the plugin is designed for. It’s designed to transplant content from Tumblr to WordPress so that you can begin blogging with WordPress. It’s possible there’s an RSS plugin you could use to consume your Tumblr RSS feed and do an ongoing sync (though I don’t know of one myself).

    but i only want to change the plugin a little bit for me. And i think it could not be so difficult to change it. I tried it the last days, but it will not fetch new posts.

    my idea is: when the cronjob is running it should import new tumblr posts. and thatis the only thhing i have to change, but i don’t know how! ??
